"When I convinced my husband to drive from our home in Chicago to Nashville to get photos taken with Little Icons, my hopes were high that the trip would be worth it! We were completely blown away and honestly think it would be worth twice the drive to get these precious photos! I’ve tried in vain to capture my daughter’s personality in photos— we have a collection of awkward, blurry pictures. That Keeli was able to (in just a short time without previously knowing us) take such pure, genuine photos of our children at this precious time in their lives was a miracle! She totally nailed my daughter’s 4 year old self— silly but thoughtful, curious and timid. Wish we had enough wall space to display them all! "We are forever grateful to have come across the Little Icons instagram account several years ago. From our very first session with our eldest we were hooked. Somehow Ashley manages to photograph each little nuance that perfectly captures our children's personalities. She possesses these wild skills that just put the kids at ease and allow them to be themselves in front of the lens, something this Mama with an iphone could never, ever do. Usually it's difficult to get just a couple of good shots of energetic children, but year after year our most difficult task is choosing which image to enlarge from the beautiful gallery presented to us. We wish we had enough wall space to display them all! We truly look forward to our yearly sessions to mark our kids' growth, quirks, and colourful personalities." Charu B

I was delighted when I saw the photos. "We had a great experience with Kelly, Jack was a bit of a monkey that day, so I was so happy when we got the images! Kelly was wonderful to work with - she was friendly and relaxed, and played along with Jack when he pretended to be a puppy and wanted to crawl around on the floor instead. He wasn't feeling very cooperative that day, but I was delighted when I saw the photos. Kelly was able to capture so many of his expressions, and we loved all of the images we were sent! A keepsake that we will treasure forever. "Ashley's space is beautiful and we were immediately welcomed in to begin our photoshoot! My 7 year old had a blast and what seems like a seamless casual process results in pure magic. What's hard to put into words with Little Icons is when you receive your photos each image actually evokes a feeling in you. More than every day photos or even other professional ones, we find Little Icons captures our son's expressions in such a way that they've made us laugh out loud or even tear up with feelings of joy and love. Better than we could hope for. "We have been having Little Icons photos taken every year for the past 5 years since our oldest son was just under a year old, and every time the photos that we receive are even better than we could hope for. Such incredible expressions and images. "I love the way Ashley has captured Sloane’s essence so perfectly since she was little! We started coming to Little Icons when she was 18 months old and then have continued with a new session approximately every 18 months after that because we love seeing how our daughter has changed! The photo shoots are always stress free because Sloane feels comfortable and engaged. I believe this is key to how Ashley is able to capture such incredible expressions and images. We have a favourite from each session up on our wall and they are always admired by friends and family. They are some of our most cherished photos of our daughter and we are forever grateful. When I asked Sloane what she thought about getting these pictures taken and what she thinks of her pictures on the wall Sloane said “They’re cool!
