What we do:
Little Icons is a portrait photography company that specializes in beautiful, playful, and classic, black and white portraits of children. At the heart of our mission is the drive to encourage children to feel important, seen, and loved. We hope that through their experience with us, and by finding themselves in images that they are proud of, we can contribute to each child’s confidence in some way.
Both our photographic style, and brand, have more of an editorial feel than you’d expect for a children centred company, and we like it that way! We operate as a pop up studio in all kinds of beautiful boutiques and shops, offering monthly events. Currently we have 11 photographers working across Canada and the U.S. We aim to grow that number to nearly double this year.
How we do it:
At Little Icons we value a supportive, engaging environment where we celebrate each other's wins AND share openly the areas where we know we have room to grow as individuals. We value synergy, and a heart-led approach backed by the skills required for excellence! Autonomy, trust, not being bound by convention, and genuinely loving what we do, are at the forefront of our culture.

Position: We are hiring for a full-time Marketing/Social Media/Communications role. You would handle day-to-day marketing tasks, including copy writing (without chat GPT!), managing our social media channels, graphic design, website, and reaching out to connect with strategic partners. We are looking for someone who brings good energy to team interactions and collaborations in the workplace. A person who isn’t bound by convention or perceived rules in marketing, creativity, and problem solving. Someone who collaborates open heartedly, and is a great believer in possibility! |
