FAQTime commitment? Two to Four days of shooting/month, plus additional time for culling and cropping, usually equal to the time spent shooting. No, studio space is not needed, we operate by popping up in local shops. Do I need studio light experience? No, lighting experience is not required, this can be trained. Do I need my own lighting and equipment? Yes, you will need to acquire lighting, a background kit, etc. Little Icons can help with this initially, if needed. You’re able to spend more time on your favourite aspects of the job, while being compensated generously. Little Icons handles marketing, booking, editing/retouching, customer service, etc. We offer our team in-depth training in our methods and approach, sharing everything we’ve learned through nearly a decade of Little Icons specific experience AND almost 2 decades of experience in editorial, fashion, and commercial work. Our community is an open door to continued sharing and growth. We are all about connection and helping to level each other up! You maintain your freedom to choose your schedule, and continue your personal work, while benefitting from this partnership in so many ways! Can I continue my photography work outside of Little Icons portraits? Absolutely, yes! Our photographers are often hired by Little Icons clients for family, maternity, events, corporate headshots, etc. It really is a beautiful partnership for both businesses! I'm a stay at home mom, can this opportunity work for me? Yes! You are who this model was designed for. We love the opportunity for moms to be empowered to enjoy their work, compensated well for it, AND to have time to present with their children. This is how Little Icons started in the first place. There is a set amount paid to photographers per booked session, and Little Icons profit shares additional sales of files and prints. We would love to hear from you and to fill you in on all of the specific details! |
